FOR PERSECUTED CHRISTIANS

Following an appeal in the Oratory Church last month by Neville Kyrke-Smith, director of the Aid to the Church in Need in the U.K., over £20,000 has so far been collected for Christians persecuted in the Middle East. A box will remain at the back of the church for those who wish to continue contributing to this urgent cause. On behalf of our persecuted brothers and sisters the Fathers are very grateful for your generosity.

In addition, Father Douglas Bazi, a Chaldean priest from Iraq who has survived kidnap and torture, is due to visit the Oratory to speak on the evening of 21st October. Further details will follow.

GIFT AID – HELPING THE ORATORY

Setting up a Gift Aid arrangement helps the Oratory to increase its income, which is much needed for the upkeep of the church and for the many pastoral activities in the parish. For further information contact the Oratory House. Offertory Envelope boxes can now be collected from the Oratory House.

PRIEST REFERENCE FOR SCHOOL APPLICATIONS
